Stock Footage Licence
This licence covers every clip in the Vancouver drone stock footage library. In short: pay once per clip, use it in as many of your own projects as you like, and don't resell it.
1. What you can do
- Use the clips in personal and commercial video projects worldwide, for as long as you like — YouTube, social media, ads, client work, films, documentaries, presentations, websites and real estate marketing.
- Edit, cut, colour-grade, crop, speed-ramp and combine the clips with other material.
- Use the same clip in as many of your own projects as you want.
2. Price and payment
- Each clip costs CA$20 (Canadian dollars). The licence starts once payment for that clip is received, and covers the one clip you paid for.
- Credit is not required, but "Footage: Steven Video Production (stevenvideo.com)" is always appreciated.
- Refunds are available if the file you receive doesn't match its preview and listed specifications.
3. What you can't do
- Resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the clips on their own or as part of a stock footage collection, template pack or download site.
- Claim the footage as your own or register it with Content ID or any other copyright system.
- Use the clips in a way that is defamatory, unlawful, or that suggests a person, building owner or brand shown endorses you or your product.
- Use the clips to train or fine-tune AI models, or as part of an AI dataset.
4. People, property and brands
- No model or property releases are provided. The clips show public places from the air, and clips centred on a private property, a brand or an identifiable person are held back from the library.
- If your use needs extra clearance (for example, a national TV ad featuring a recognisable building), you are responsible for getting it.
5. Ownership and warranty
- Steven Video Production keeps the copyright in all footage. This licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable, except that you may pass the clip to a client as part of a finished project.
- The footage is provided as-is. Steven Video Production's total liability under this licence is limited to the amount you paid for it.
